About this lesson: Common Words IV
Real words engage a different skill than letter drills: reading ahead. Your eyes should be one or two words in front of your fingers, feeding a pipeline instead of reacting letter by letter.
How to get the most from this drill
- Read the next word while your fingers finish the current one.
- Type whole words as units — common words should feel like single gestures, not letter sequences.
- Do not chase speed yet; chase the feeling of words flowing without conscious spelling.
