About this lesson: Capital Letters II
Capitals introduce coordination between hands: one hand holds Shift while the other strikes the letter. The rule that prevents bad habits — always use the Shift on the opposite side from the letter.
How to get the most from this drill
- Capital on the left hand? Hold the right Shift, and vice versa. No exceptions.
- Press Shift slightly before the letter and release slightly after — rushing the release clips capitals.
- Keep the non-shifting fingers anchored; the pinky should do the Shift work alone.
